Wildfire season is just around the corner—and while the smoke may be unavoidable outdoors, you can still breathe easy indoors. This spring, New Westminster residents are getting the chance to take action and protect their health with a hands-on, community-driven solution.

This May and June, Century House is hosting free workshops where you’ll learn how to create a simple but effective DIY air purifier to keep your indoor air clean during wildfire smoke events. Using everyday materials (provided at no cost), you’ll walk away with a working air cleaner and practical knowledge to help safeguard your home.
Even better—you’ll also get emergency tips on how to keep smoke and other contaminants out of your indoor space when air quality plummets.
