 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 New Westminster Hosts Action-Packed Family Day Weekend

Looking for an exciting way to bond with your family this February? The City of New Westminster invites families of all sizes to enjoy a weekend full of fun, creativity, and active adventures during the Family Day Weekend, taking place from Saturday, February 15, to Monday, February 17, 2025. The event features a range of activities suitable for all ages, and most of them are either free or very affordable.

This action-packed weekend offers something for everyone. From energetic Zumba sessions and playful sports activities to culturally enriching dance workshops, there’s no shortage of fun. While many activities are drop-in, a few require registration to secure your spot.

Registration Details:
New Westminster residents can begin registering on January 23 at 10:00 a.m., while non-residents may register starting January 24. Be sure to sign up for all family members planning to attend registered events.

Weekend Highlights:

• Saturday, February 15: Start your weekend with activities like Family Zumba, an Indoor Playland for the little ones, and Family Pickleball.

• Sunday, February 16: Enjoy free drop-in options such as Family Fun Swim, open sports like badminton, and multi-sport sessions. Fitness and Zumba classes are also available for families to join.

• Monday, February 17: Dive into engaging cultural activities such as Indigenous Hoop Dancing, Indian Dance with Bells, and the Island Vibes event. Families can also explore greenhouse activities or try skating lessons.

This Family Day Weekend is the perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and play together while exploring exciting new activities.
