A Sweet Filipino Delight Comes to New Westminster

During the pandemic, one Filipino family turned a small entrepreneurial project into a thriving bakery business that has captured the hearts of dessert lovers across Metro Vancouver. Already beloved for its unique and authentic Filipino treats at its Vancouver location, this family-run bakery is expanding its magic to New Westminster with a brand-new store set to open on Saturday, January 11th.

The bakery is best known for its two standout desserts:

• Ube Rival Cake: A showstopper featuring layers of crisp cashew meringue and creamy ube buttercream, offering a perfect balance of texture and flavor.

• Ube Flan: A luscious flan infused with purple yam, topped with caramel, and boasting a rich, velvety sweetness that has made it a customer favorite.
