The New Westminster Police Department (NWPD) is inviting families to a festive meet-and-greet event featuring Constable Claus, a special guest from the North Pole. This family-friendly gathering offers an opportunity to support the community while enjoying holiday cheer.
Taking place on Tuesday, December 19th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the event will be held in the Clarkson Street parking lot behind the NWPD. Families can look forward to festive treats, face painting, and a photo session with Constable Claus. Donations will be collected for the Don’t Go Hungry Food Support Program, a vital initiative aiding local residents in need.
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items, cash, or toys. Key items requested include nut butters, canned soups, granola bars, diapers, baby wipes, and cleaning supplies. These contributions will help fill Constable Claus’s bag to benefit over 1,500 people served weekly by Don’t Go Hungry at locations in New Westminster and South Burnaby.
Parking for the event is available at the Front Street Parkade and on Church Street, with additional accessibility information provided on the NWPD website at nwpolice.org/accessibility.
This holiday season, the NWPD is calling on the community to come together and help make a difference. For more information about Don’t Go Hungry’s mission and impact, visit dontgohungry.ca.

Congratulations!
